Eden V. Evans is an interdisciplinary artist and educator living and working in Berkeley, CA. Evans studied sculpture and textiles at San Francisco State University (2015) before receiving her MFA from the University of Oregon (2021) in interdisciplinary art practice.  She has exhibited work at Oregon Contemporary, Root Division, the Palo Alto Arts Center, Tropical Contemporary, Incline Gallery, Eugene Contemporary Art’s Anti-Aesthetic and the John A. Legnitto Environmental Learning Center. She has been in residence at Recology SF and StudioSpace in Emeryville, CA.In 2020, Evans founded the Center for Investigation of Land Mass Agency (CILMA) a field study project, which centers its inquiry on embodied knowledge and relational aesthetics for the more-than-human world. Evans acts as CILMA’s sole Agent and administrator. She is currently building the CILMA Database, which can be accessed here.
